Training of Trainers (ToT) programme aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and financial inclusion for young women in the creative economy

Over the past 20 days, the Business Development Service Providers Network (BDSPN), in partnership with Steadman Global Consulting Limited, successfully implemented a comprehensive Training of Trainers (ToT) programme aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and financial inclusion for young women in the creative economy.

The programme brought together 19 participants (10 Female, 9 Male) and delivered three key training packages:

* SIYB (Start and Improve Your Business)
* GET Ahead
* Financial Education (ILO framework)

Through a highly participatory and experiential approach, participants were equipped with practical skills in business planning, financial literacy, and adult training methodologies—empowering them to effectively cascade knowledge to entrepreneurs on the ground.

Most importantly, these 19 trained facilitators will go on to support over 1,500 women and youth in the creative industry, amplifying the impact of this initiative and contributing to inclusive economic growth.

From generating and improving business ideas, to building strong financial habits such as budgeting, saving, and smart borrowing, the training emphasized not just enterprise growth, but sustainable and informed decision-making.

This initiative marks a significant step in building a strong ecosystem of trainers capable of driving impact, supporting entrepreneurs, and contributing to inclusive economic development.

This is how ecosystems are built—by investing in people who will, in turn, empower many more.

Kudos to our Master Trainers who successfully implemented the training. Robert Twesigye Robert Mawanda Yairo Ngobi Nelson Tasenga Frida Amoding
